Innovation: Powering Future Industries Poster Contest

Students will immerse themselves in our exciting world of innovation and discovery at our upcoming Science Week 2023, scheduled from the 14th to the 18th of August! This week-long event promises an exhilarating lineup of activities designed to power future industries and ignite our student's passion for science and technology.

Before officially starting Science Week, students will develop their creativity and artistic skills by participating in the Poster Contest, encapsulating this year's theme, "Innovation: Powering Future Industries".

Every day during Science Week, there will be mind-boggling fun with our Science Week Quiz, hosted by Grade 6 Leaders. Tuesday is all about hands-on exploration and exhilarating experiments! The Year 6 Leaders, with teacher supervision, will take centre stage in the STEM room, conducting a series of thrilling science experiments for students of all grades to observe. On Thursday, Grade 5 students will proudly present their accomplishments in working with Microbits during Term 3. For the uninitiated, Microbits are pocket-sized computers that introduce the fascinating interplay between software and hardware. With LED light displays, buttons, sensors, and numerous input/output features, these tiny wonders allow interaction with the world through creative programming. Students will have a week filled with curiosity, innovation, and inspiration as we celebrate Science Week!
