WPS Community Children’s Garden

Spring is just around the corner and the weeds are starting to spring out of the ground. With the ground still wet, collecting weed leaves and roots is easy and satisfying work. In fact, the students enjoyed the task so much, they could have spent the whole of lunch time weeding. 😊

With the new irrigation system scheduled to be installed this month, it was time to pull all the old hoses, poly pipes, dripper lines and fittings out of storage to be reused. Great enthusiasm and teamwork was shown by everyone pitching in to lug all the items down to the garden. The pile of hoses and pipes assembled was certainly big!
