Wellbeing, SRC & PBL Teams

Thank you to all the parents and friends who joined us at our Leader in Me Open Day this week. We were overwhelmed by your response and enthusiasm.

Holy Family is a Leader in Me School and we are so proud of all our students and the leadership they demonstrate each and every day.

This week we are looking at Habit 4 - Think Win Win

Remember to use the win win language at home this week!

I’m Stella and I am in Year 6 2023.

We get to take part in projects, camps, expo’s and special events that are great learning experiences for us. Leadership Camp is the best experience ever. We got to kayak, paddleboard, play archery tag and so much more.

Sport is my passion. At school,  I  play Basketball on the undercroft and Soccer on the grass area. I love to play soccer as I have been playing soccer ever since I was in preschool. I love everything that sport has to offer. As Sport Leader, I help manage my colour house,  Polding and help run the athletics carnival, swimming carnival and cross-country carnival. Along with the other sport leaders, I handle the sports and play equipment for the school

There are lots of things that I like about Holy Family but one of the biggest reasons is how we are one community. As a school community where everyone knows everyone. This creates a safe, social environment and builds a sense of belonging. I have loved being at Holy Family from Kindergarten to Year Six, getting to know everyone at my school.

I’m Olivia and I am in Year 6 2023.

Have you ever imagined being able to learn the most engaging and interesting subjects,

and dive into creative, challenging long-term projects?

Well we do this right here in Senior School. These projects contain subjects such as Art, Mathematics, Geography, Science and History. We create fun designs, representations, dioramas, documents, reports, models and slideshows - allowing us the opportunity to direct our own learning which demonstrates our own unique talents.

The experiences allow students to express their learning through engaging activities which are designed to make us think and challenge our learning. In Senior School, we use our leadership skills when synergising with others to complete our tasks. All of these amazing opportunities give us the skills which will help us for later pathways of life.

Enjoy your weekend,
