Mardi Gras (Carnaval français) dress-up day, Thursday 4th March

Bonjour!

On Thursday 4th March, BPS will be celebrating Mardi Gras (Carnaval français).

Mardi Gras is celebrated in France as part of Lent: a catholic religious tradition, that ties in with spring festivals.  It symbolises letting go of the old and welcoming new beginnings.  Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is a time to have fun, eat lots of treats and be someone different for a day.

Students may dress up in colourful costumes and masks.

NB: Masks will be provided at school.Fairytale Puppetry (Exploring Languages) will be performing Jungle Book.

We look forward to celebrating this special event at BPS.

2021 School Playground Essential Agreement

BPS Students, in collaboration with our teacher Student Wellbeing Team, came together to co construct the 2021 School Playground Essential Agreement.  This agreement will be displayed in all classrooms and is a reminder to students about the expected behaviours in the playground.
