Kindergarten Meet and Greets with Teachers and parents/carers

Parents of students in Kindergarten will begin meeting with teachers in Weeks 5 and 6. Information on how to book your meet and greets has been sent out via the COMPASS Parent Portal.

Home Reading 

Home reading began last week for Years 1 - 6. An information sheet was sent home regarding home reading expectations. Thank you to all students and parents who have established positive routines to ensure home reading is completed, recorded and logs are returned to school so teachers can monitor this homework. 

Did you know that researchers discovered that reading for 20 minutes a day = student will read about 1.8 million words a year? This highlights the importance of daily reading, so your support is greatly appreciated and will benefit your child.

2021 School Fees

School fees have now been sent by email.  For your information payment requirements are as follows:

• For families that have submitted a Request to Pay via Instalment Form or who previously had a Request to Pay via Instalments in 2021, a schedule of the required payments and the due date have been noted on school fee statements.  The first instalment payment will be due on 28 February 2021.  
  Parents may commence payments earlier if they wish, however, it is important that any existing regular payment is equal to the instalment amount provided on the school fee statement and that payment is made on or before the due dates on the statement.  
  Reference should be made to the Request to Pay by Instalments on the school’s website for conditions relating to payment in this manner.
• For families that have not submitted a Request to Pay via Instalment Form, fees are required to be paid in full 30 days from the issue date (30 March 2021) of the statement. Non-payment will be followed up by the school.

All student activity levies include all costs except the Swimming Carnival and  Gala Days.  These items will be billed separately through EVENTS on the COMPASS Parent Portal.

Book Club Issue 1 2021

Students have now received Book Club Issue 1, 2021.  Issue 1 has now close.

Books will be delivered in the week beginning Monday 22 February 2021.
