CAMPS, SPORTS AND EXCURSION FUND APPLICATIONS

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you have a valid means-tested concession card, such as a Veterans Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible. There is also a special consideration category for asylum seeker and refugee families.

Payment amounts this year are $125 for eligible primary school students. Payments are made direct to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions and sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

If you applied for CSEF through our school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances.

If you would like to apply for the first time, please contact the school office on 5410 7700 and ask for an application form.

You can find out more about the program and eligibility, on the Department of Education and Training’s Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund web page.

Check with Deidre in the school office if you are unsure and please return completed forms to the school office as soon as possible.

Learning Chats

Learning Chats will take place in Week 5 (22nd -25th of February) between 3.20pm and 5.30pm for every student in the school. This provides an opportunity for you and your child to meet with the classroom teacher and discuss their interests, strengths, medical or wellbeing needs and together set learning goals for your child. There will be an allocation of 15 mins per student. This can occur in person, via Webex or a phone call. This will not apply to our Prep students who have had interviews already.

There will be an opportunity for you to book a time with your child’s teacher at the end of today via Sentral. The interview timetable will be published to the parent portal.  Please indicate if you would like to meet the teacher either in person or online (via Webex) when you do this. If you’d prefer to do this as a phone call, please book in as per the booking form and let your child's teacher know via Class Dojo that you'd prefer a phone call.

We strongly encourage our students to attend these meetings. We are looking forward to meeting with you.

If you require support accessing Sentral, please call the office for assistance.
