Celebrating all things great at the Grove.
We've hit the half way point of the term. It's been a very busy, but wonderful start to the learning year.
This week's we have parent/teacher interviews on Wednesday afternoon. These will be held in the Admin area. Sessions are 15 minutes each & teachers have prepared for these times to share with you how your child is going so far. Any support plans will be shared with you if necessary. The high number of parents engaging in these sessions is fantastic. Please be on time & respect the time for other families to engage with their child's teacher. If you missed a spot please contact the class teacher to arrange another mutually suitable time to have this discussion.
Staffing Allocations are now in and we completed Day 8 with 206 students. We will hold the 10 classes we formed. Mrs Pratt leaves us at the end of week 9 - 26/3 to have her baby. I will let Year 1B parents know who her replacement will be once I have that information confirmed.
Invoicing has all been sent home for student resourcing scheme. Please make payments as requested. Please also complete the updated contact form and any unexplained absences and return to the office. Late students and early departures must be signed out through the office.
Any medication your child needs to take during the day, please see the office for the form to complete and it must have a pharmacy label.
Please ensure you have connected to your child's class Dojo. Class teachers and the office should be your first point of contact. All staff emails are available through the Parent handbook.
I have meet with council and we have a draft plan for signage and drop off at the front of the school. We have also put an application for crossing support. There are still parents parking out the front of the school in that drop off zone in the morning. If you wish to come into the school you must find somewhere else to park please. This holds up drop off for other families and for the school bus.
Parents are invited to our Invesiture Ceremony on Monday 8th March at 9am to see our school leaders presented with their badges.
