Remote Learning

We are all learning remotely and sharing some special learning experiences

Sienna has made a fantastic Rain Maker as part of her learning in Performing Arts.

This was a very popular task for our students.

Hopefully we can create an orchestra of rainmaker shakers.

The Preps enjoyed their first Google meet seeing all of their friends and teachers again. They  managed to join in last week and focus on their sentence of the week.

It is great to see that the Teachers have set up mini classrooms in their own homes.

Maxwell and Jasper are now getting used to the home learning routine and are enjoying it so far! The weekly family meetings with the teachers have also been good, as it gives them the chance to have a one-on-one chat with the teachers.

It is so wonderful to see students helping out at home. Marco was making dinner for his family.  He made fresh pasta using the pasta machine and then they all felt like ricotta ravioli  so he whipped up some of those also.

It was his home economics class🤣 for the day.

I am happy to try to any of your home cooking samples.

Great work Marco!

Frances is enjoying reading at home on the big screen. Technology is certainly changing the way we can teach and learn today!

She is also being very creative and completing many arts and craft activities.

This is Keira working at home on a cold afternoon, whilst engaged in her art work, showcasing lines, patterns and colour.

Keira has managed a great week of learning from home.

Hello everyone. In case you've forgotten us, we are your school captains, Anria and Chris.

This time of hardship might feel like forever, but it will be alright. This time will end.  We need to do the right thing and can get through this together and still have some fun at the same time.

Each week we will put together a couple of optional activities that you might like to do. We would love to see pictures or videos of you doing these activities. Have fun!

Challenges for this week:

- Make a fort

- Learn a magic trick

- Pick some flowers from the garden and give them to your mum for Mother’s Day.

Remember to check with your parents first!

So remember - Be safe and have fun. We can get through this together, but if we do the right thing, we can get through this quicker.
