RSA Course
On Monday 30th August we have 25 Year 12 students taking the Responsible Serving of Alcohol course. This is a great opportunity to increase their qualifications.
Work Experience
Due to recent lockdown restrictions, our Group 2 HUMS students will now complete their work experience placement during the week of Monday 11th October to Friday 15th October at the start of term 4. It is important that our Year 10 students engage during this week giving them a chance to discover the world of work and learn new employability skills. Students have been given the relevant paperwork and are asked to seek a work experience placement for the above dates. Careers staff and the HUMS teachers will support students through this process.
The experience provides students with a valuable opportunity to develop employment skills, explore possible career options, understand employer expectations and increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence and self-confidence.
Please encourage your child to look for a work experience placement.

Current Year 12 students are reminded that you will need a USI number when applying for Commonwealth financial assistance when you enrol at university next year. Some students who have already been studying a VET subject may already have one and it is recommended students create or find their USI via, https://www.usi.gov.au/ ahead of time.
