Outdoor Education Program

St Simon the Apostle Outdoor Education Program - Rescheduled Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 Camps

Over the last few weeks, our school has been communicating with the campsite operators to pre plan and book new dates for the camps. We are excited to have found new dates for the following camps:

Year 3 Wombat Corner Day Camp - Wednesday 17th November

Year 5 Alexandra Adventure Resort Camp - Monday 8th November to Wednesday 10th November.

Currently, the extension of restrictions has left us with no choice but to postpone and defer our Year 6 Ballarat Tour Experience next week. However, the school is currently exploring opportunities to reschedule this camp next term.

The uncertainty of restrictions around these dates remain unknown to us at the moment. Once these are outlined by our school operations guidelines and the Victoria Government, we will communicate to parents information regarding these camps. Camps provide a wonderful opportunity for your children to build confidence, independence, responsibility, team work and resilience in an outdoor setting. We hope to offer these experiences through our rescheduled camps.
