An Amazing Race, Ice Cream...
...and hopefully, Happy Holidays!
On Thursday the whole school participated in a series of challenges in small groups. They were paired with others they might not normally choose to work with and had to complete tasks such as finding an object for every letter of the alphabet, building a perimeter fence to lie in, finding 3D objects in the playground and throwing and catching. They displayed great resilience and teamwork and we were very proud of them all.
We finished off with home made ice cream donated by Mrs Emerton.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 lockdowns happening in NSW at this moment and the uncertainty of everything surrounding the dental visit to schools, the dental visit to our school will be postponed for 2021 and rescheduled for 2022. The exact dates for the school will be provided as soon as dates have been set.
The end of the term has come very quickly, sadly with many of our school plans in tatters. Let's hope everyone has a great, safe, possibly very local (Lockdown?) holiday.
We are all looking forward to being back together at school on Tuesday the 5th of October, which just happens to be World Teachers Day!
Stay safe and take care.
