Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair was due to be delivered to school next week, to coincide with the upcoming Book Week.  Unfortunately, due to the lockdown restrictions, we have had to reschedule this to the end of Term 3.  Pending lifted restrictions, we plan to hold the Book Fair in the last week of Term 3.

Book Week Dress-Up Day

To celebrate Book Week 2021, we are going to hold a Book Week Dress-Up Day on Friday 27th August.

For this Book Week Dress-Up Day, we are not asking families to buy costumes but to be creative with what you have at home.  Look around the house to see if you have something that can be adapted into an outfit; use your imagination to re-purpose things like boxes, cardboard, fabric, clothes, etc.  It can be extremely satisfying to make something yourself from scratch, not that you have simply bought off the shelf.  Students may think of a book character to dress up as or may like to design a costume to match the Book Week theme, "Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds".
