COVID-19 Sport Update

Return of CaSSSA and College Sport – August 2021

CaSSSA and College Sport will be returning as of 23 August 2021. The ability for sport to return comes with new restrictions. Please see below for more detailed information.

 

CaSSSA Zero Tolerance Threshold 

This zero-tolerance policy applies to all staff, coaches, students and families. Those who exhibit any one of these symptoms are expected to refrain from attending any CaSSSA or College Sport events. The zero tolerance symptoms for the threshold are:

  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Continuous cough or sneezing
  • Extreme nasal or chest congestion

College Sport Restrictions

There is to be no spectators at College venue events and Public venues are subject to sign-in on arrival, social distancing and wearing a mask. The students must also wear a mask when not competing as well as continually sanitising their hands.

Training will return starting Monday 23 August 2021, see the table below for specific team training time and location.

Term 3 Sport Fixtures

Interschool CaSSSA Sport games will resume on Wednesday 25 August.  This will allow 5 of the 8 rounds to be completed.

 

CaSSSA 2021 Track and Field Carnival

The carnival has been rescheduled to Monday 13 September. Training for this event will continue as per normal until the event.
