Staff Spotlight

Mr Mirko Guerrini is currently teaching saxophone and clarinet at Huntingtower. He joined our team of musicians in February 2020 and has since been teaching our students privately on saxophone and clarinet as well as leading the Concert Band every Thursday morning. 

 

Mr Guerrini studied in Italy and obtained a Masters Degree in Classical Saxophone and Composition at the Conservatorium “L. Cherubini” in Florence. He currently holds a position of saxophone and small ensembles director of Monash University as well as teacher of saxophone at Brighton Grammar and Wesley College (Glen Waverley). 

He is passionate about teaching his students and ensuring that they enjoy their lessons and explore the wonderful world of saxophone and clarinet playing.
