Rescheduled

School Event Changes

The lockdown extension and tighter restrictions have required us to review all upcoming school events. We completely understand the disappointment the community feels, and we are equally as disappointed, however, we have reached a point where it is no longer possible to postpone or re-schedule some events.

The main school event changes are:

Year 9 Ski Camp

Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to re-schedule, we have reached the point that we cannot proceed with Ski Camp this year.  We have tired multiple dates and venues however, it has been confirmed there is no opportunity to proceed.  A huge thank you to Mr Nic Green and Mr Dean Owens for working so hard and making every effort to try and make this camp happen.  Further specific information on the cancellation of this camp will be provided by the Middle School to the Year 9 families.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Following a careful review of the current and future restrictions, we have reached the point where we cannot see the Secondary School Production being permitted to have a live audience.  We are also critically aware that the cast involves many Year 12 students who need to place their focus on the upcoming exams.  We will make every effort to find a way to capture the amazing work of all the students on film to share with the community.  As it is often said, it is not the destination but the journey that is most important.  I commend the cast and crew, led by Mr Trent Bockman, for the many hours dedicated to this journey with rehearsals, choreography, set design, lighting, costumes, logistics… the list is extensive. Thank you!

We all hope that we will see the students back on campus before the end of Term and that the remainder of the school year can be enjoyed and celebrated together.
