Parenting program Tuning in to Kids

LETTER OF INVITATION FOR PARENTS

Dear Parent/Carer,

You are invited to participate in a free parenting program called Tuning in to Kids (TIK). The program has already been delivered to over 120,000 parents in Australia, and previous research studies have provided a strong evidence-base that the program improves various child, parent and family outcomes. The current study is to compare three different delivery methods of the program and to see what works best for which families.

Christmas Toy & Food Drive

As with previous years the Melbourne North police station in conjunction with the Melbourne North Police Community Consultative Committee (PCCC) are organising a Christmas Toy/Food Drive to assist people who may be doing it a bit harder than most at Christmas time.  (This will be the 16th year it is taking place).

This year we are again supporting The Venny Children’s Communal Backyard and support service in Kensington, and also Ronald Mc Donald House at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Our local drop off point is the Commonwealth Bank at 53 Errol Street shops as of 22 November 2018.
