Monologue Characters

Take a stroll through our Gallery 

As part of online learning, Mr Bleakley’s VCE Theatre Studies class made a gallery of their monologue characters.

Students made costumes and props with whatever was around the house, then added a Zoom background and chose a quote from the text that their character says.

Characters range from an exuberant British tour guide to a Chinese ghost-hunting grandma, a magical water genie to a pirate barmaid and more!

Students have selected monologues from the published list from VCAA and will present their performances (either acting them out as an actor/director or sharing their designs as a designer) for our school community later in the year and for the Unit 4 students, in their performance exam as well.

So keep posted in a few months for your chance to see these wonderful performances.
