ALUMNI | SARAH HAWE

We were very exited to hear that one of our past students, Sarah Hawe (Class of 2004) has recently been selected to represent Australia at the forthcoming Tokyo Olympics.

Sarah, a qualified veterinarian surgeon, has been training with the Rowing Australia at their National Training Centre in Penrith, NSW for the last 3 years.

She has previously represented our country on many occasions around the world and was in the winning crew of the world championship team for the Women’s Coxless Four in 2017 and 2019. She has also rowed at the renowned Henley Royal Regatta, winning the 2018 Remenham Challenge Cup.

Sarah will row in Tokyo as part of the Women’s Eight on 25 July for the heats and hopefully in the final on 30 July.  She will form part of the 38-strong rowing team headed for Japan.

Good luck to Sarah and all members of the Australian rowing team!
