Mr Peter Serone
Please read the Deputy Head of College section information about summer uniform requirements. A reminder of the College expectations regarding hair and grooming from page 21 of the Student Handbook:
Hair must be clean, brushed and generally neat – off the ears and collar and, when brushed forward, out of the eyes. There must be no extremes or variations to hair colour nor layered, ridged or undercut hair. The shortest length is a blade 3. A conservative “College cut” is recommended. All boys must be clean-shaven during the school day and at all College events. Sideburns may not be below the level of the earlobes.
Feedback from students has been very positive regarding the Year 9 camp experience. Heads of House will soon have photos available to them for distribution to their House groups. A great deal of organisation goes into such an event. I would like to thank the staff who attended making this event a reality:
Ridley: David Meehan, Carl Palmer and Will Burkett
Ephrem: Ryan Apps, Harrison Gates
Foley: Stan Kosiek, Richard Aplin
Gilroy: Brett Gillett, Dallas Williams
Harold: Brendan Kiernan, Patrick Denkes
Ignatius: Terry Quain, Paul Knight, Willem Wild
Rush: Scott Minogue, Andrew Devoy
Slattery: Julia Wilken, Zubin Varghese
Counsellors: Jorge Ruiz, Genevieve Long
I would also like to acknowledge the additional hours of work behind the scenes in the camp organisation by Mrs Kelly Byrnes.
A number of lost items were collected from camp. If your son has lost an item, ask him to check with Student Admin.
In the secondary school the lost property room is very full being at the end of term. There is a range of unnamed items with lunch boxes very prevalent.
