Melbourne Museum

For Inquiry this week 1/2 UR had an exceptionally wonderful experience visiting the MelbourneMuseum. The students had a chance to explore many of the exhibitions, which included Mini MegaModels, Dinosaurs, Bugs and the Forest Gallery. The students also had a chance to learn about theculture of indigenous peoples through the immersive exhibition on Indigenous daily life. This sectionof the museum was an excellent way to consolidate all they learnt about Indigenous traditions andculture in the classroom. Students had a chance to look at videos, touch artefacts and listen torecordings that prompted questions and wonderings. It was fascinating and fabulous day!
