Leaders and SRC Meeting Week 10

  • Student school Leaders will meet with leaders to discuss the proposal for Mini Fete net term
  • A busy term 3 with LOTS of learning, activities, events such as Book Week and Concert, level  excursions, sports events - athletics, netball, swimming,  and Year 3/4 went to camp
  • Year 5/6 will be on camp in week 1 of term 4
  • Swimming has interrupted class meeting times
  • Edie Oscar Amelia and Lavenia have made it through to the regionals athletics finals Congratulations!!
  • Footy colours day on Friday - wear your team’s jumper, scarf or socks!!
  • School  assembly at 12.45 on Friday as early finish at 1.30
  • Class teachers please schedule a class meeting sometime this week to celebrate the incredible term we have had!

Learning and events in our school this week:

Preps went to the museum last week and it was a lot of fun - Zara

We are writing stories and drawing pictures.

Year 1/2  will go on Wednesday to the Museum.

Year 5/6 preparing for camp in week 1 and  camp concert acts

Finishing inquiry topic and maths assessments

Class clean up and tidy up before end of term

SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week

School Leaders and SRC  will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.

They will  be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn. 

Discuss what these qualities look like.

Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely

Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness

Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
