PFA Report

Welcome to Term 3
Welcome to Term 3 and Semester 2. I hope everyone had a wonderful, relaxing break with friends and family over the longer 3-week holiday.
The second half of the year will be busy as usual and the PFA looks forward to keeping you updated on all the activities and events that parents and other loved ones are welcomed to attend and support.

SHUS (Secondhand Uniform Shop)
You are welcome to drop in your used uniforms for consignment to SHUS on 2 August and 3 September. Please ensure the uniforms are in excellent condition, freshly laundered and pressed, with blazers, skirts, pants and shorts dry-cleaned. Consignment forms are available on the day or available to down-load from the PFA website.
CSRs (Class Social Reps)
Several year levels enjoyed activities and company over the recent break. The Daintree Group in the ELC visited Tivoli Theatre Pantomimes and saw the production of Alice in Wonderland. Year 5 enjoyed a great day of play at an indoor climbing centre. Year 7 went trampolining and Year 12s and their parents caught up at the McKinnon Hotel for a gathering before the Formal. Thank you to the CSRs who find the time to organise these opportunities for us.
To stay in touch with the opportunities available, please ensure your details are added to the 'parent contacts' section of the Parent Portal.
K24 Challenge
Save the date and be ready to represent the Parent Team in the race for the maille jaune (Yellow Jersey – Tour de France) at Kilvington’s K24 stationary bike race.
The trybooking link is available for you to add your details and choose a time slot to ride, and for our bakers to add their culinary donation to our bake stall.
Father's Day Breakfast
We are very pleased to be offering our fathers and their students a Father’s Day breakfast in Dalton Hall, Friday 2 September from 7.30am - 8.30am. Bookings will open shortly.
World Fair 2017
Preparations are beginning for our 2017 World Fair. Come along to our first meeting in the Staff Lounge Wednesday 27 July 7.30pm – 8.30pm to discuss what we will offer: Rides, silent auction, craft stalls, country stalls, food, bar, bump in/out, volunteer coordinator, individual fundraising stalls - plants, craft, preserves, cakes, Alumni, toys, books, etc.
No expertise required, just a willingness to be involved. The more helpers, the more we can offer.
