Extend After School Care at Kilvington Grammar School

Our Recap
It is with great pleasure from everyone here at ASC that we welcome everyone back to school! It was fantastic to see everyone again after a big three-week holiday and hear about all the great trips away, adventures and activities that everybody got up to.
While many of us were out and about, there were also just as many children who attended the winter holiday program. Some of the highlights included excursions to the Big Slide centre where we all had a great run around as well as relaxing in the big comfy chairs at the cinemas watching Ice Age 5. The amount of fun activities that we did I cannot count on my hands and toes combined!
We cooked up a storm in the kitchen making delicious chocolate fudge brownies, pancake kebabs and cupcakes! We were also lucky enough to participate in a Zumba class which provided a showcase for all the kids' sweet dance moves!
Speaking of dance moves, we also had three party afternoons where we dressed up, ate some yummy foods, played some great games and had a good old fashioned boogie!
Some of the impressive craft projects that the kids completed include wacky sacks, ninja balls and puppets, mini television sets, wooden planes, woollen letters, bracelets and optical illusions.
To warm ourselves up we tried to get out and about and have a good run around. Favourites to play were any and all forms of tiggy, basketball, volleyball, Frisbee golf, chocolate box and Great Wall of China just to name a few.
After many of us had escaped to a warmer climate over the holidays, the return to School and the freezing cold weather provided quite a shock to the system! However, the cold did not stop the kids from getting out and enjoying a kick of the footy, a swing on the monkey bars and it would not be ASC if 4-square was not on the cards. For those of us who were smart enough to stay indoors, we made some self-portraits out of wool, whipped up some delicious Milo Balls and attempted to find the best way to clean some old and dirty coins.
