Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent teacher interviews were held at the College on Tuesday 1 September. Once again there was a great turn out, and it is very positive to see parents engaged in their child's education, working in partnership with the teachers. If you were unable to attend and have any concerns or questions, please contact your child's coordinator in the appropriate sub school.

Strategic Plan
This is the College's year of review and planning. Every 4 years, schools in the Victorian education system are required to review the achievements from the previous 4 years, and plan for the next 4. We have undertaken a comprehensive review, in the areas of Achievement, Wellbeing, Engagement and Productivity. From this review we have developed goals and key improvement strategies in each of these areas to continue to support our students to achieve the best learning & pathways outcomes possible.
We are currently in the process of communicating these goals and strategies to the wider staff to get feedback, as well as to School Council. A final School Strategic Plan will be released early in Term 4.
City Experience
Congratulations to all the Year 9 students and participating staff for another successful City Experience. Students have undertaken a wide range of activities in the city during the week starting 7 September, including group research tasks, visits to the shrine and art galleries, and other Melbourne attractions. Particular thanks go to Ms Kiran Pannu and the Year 9 Humanities teachers for their organisation of the event.
There is a student led presentation evening for parents on Thursday 17 September, and a full report with photos will be in the next newsletter.
Year 12 Practice Exams
All Year 12 VCE students will be sitting practice exams during the first week of the holidays. This will provide students with an opportunity to practice exams under full exam conditions, and to receive feedback from their teachers on progress, and areas where more work is needed. All students have an exam timetable, and these exams are compulsory.
And finally...
We would like to wish all staff, students and their families a safe term break and we look forward to a positive and rewarding Term 4 for us all.
