Winter Interschool Sports

Our Winter Interschool Sports season came to a close on Friday, with our students finishing with games against St Stephens (Netball) and Preston West (Girls Soccer and AFL).

The teams have finished the season in the following positions on their respective ladders:

AFL: 4th

Girls Soccer:  Eq 2nd (3rd on goal difference)

Netball: 6th

Mixed Netball: 7th

Boys Soccer: 2nd

The boys soccer team will be playing against Preston A Primary School. This will be held at 9:30am at HLT Oulton Reserve (Cnr Albert and Bell Street, Preston).

I would like to thank Mr Vernal, Ms Kelly, Ms Hirschauer and Ms Helen for their contribution and effort in coordinating these students throughout the term and for coaching them along the way. To the parents who were there to support our students on Fridays, thank you for taking the time to come along, the children are greatful for this. 

The teachers have submitted their votes for the best and fairest awards in each sport and these will be revealed at the end of the year at our Sports Fun Day, which will be held on Friday November 1.

Cross Country

Congratulations to Bianca Marcellino (5/6K) and Thomas Malliaras (5/6H) who recently competed in the Northern Regional Cross Country competition. The school community is extremely proud of your achievements!
