100 Centenarians by Teenagers

100 Centenarians by Teenagers was a wonderful opportunity to get involved in the community and exhibit as an artist. Anne Burnstein, my partnered Centenarian who is 101 years of age was a delight to speak with and draw as my focal point. I have never met anyone over the age of 100 so this experience enabled me to think with more of an open mind about life as Anne was very wise and generously shared her experiences with me. I went to see the exhibition on three different occasions, each time seeing new artworks and learning about Centenarians and their Artists from the biographies written. Anne visited my artwork on the last day of the exhibition and I am intending on presenting and gifting her the artwork on the 9th of November at her home.

I’d like to thank Miss Cowley for presenting this opportunity to me and encouraging me to participate and Ms McIvor for supporting me and organising for Tahlia and I to be involved in the project.
