Environmental Council 

The Environmental Council has some more news to share with the McCarthy community! National Tree Day is in the process of being organised, for Friday 26 of July and students will participate in populating the College with more trees. More information about this will be released closer to the date.

We have also obtained recycling bins for both inside and outside of the classroom. Three recycling bins have been placed around the College in order to encourage students to recycle their rubbish at recess and lunch, and we urge students to continue to use these bins for their intended purpose. Recycling bins have also been bought for each classroom in the College to allow for paper to be recycled. These will be distributed soon to the classes to make sure recycling can happen everywhere around the College!
