2016 State School Spectacular

On Saturday, 10th Sept. Greensborough College student’s Emily Beasley, Britney Davies and Phoebe Hibbert from 7A, Taylah Brown, Bentley Butler, Tahlia Butters, Rachel Fairchild and Deviria Sutera from 7C, Aimee Evans and Elizabeth Pardallis from 7D, Katherine Juleff from 8E, Pariss Hibbert and Lauren Panettieri from 9A, Caitlin Warren from 9B, Sonya Davey and Tahnee Riky from 9C and Tiana Divljan and Mikayla Young from 9E performed as part of the mass dance group for Victorian State Schools Spectacular. Preparing for this day we had four rehearsals where we practiced the seven dances that we performed on the night.  The dances included Step Out by José González, Sing by Pentatonix, Around the World by Daft Punk, U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer, Black and Gold by Sam Sparro, Helium by Chris Lake (ft. Jareth) and finally, When Love Takes Over by Jessica Mauboy. We also had two all day rehearsals on Thursday, 9th and Friday, 10th September where we ran through the whole program twice with a full dress rehearsal.

We had a great time being part of the 2016 Victorian State School Spectacular and we would like to say thank you to Mr Ting who took us to-and-from our rehearsals and performances.
