Principal's Report

I would like to welcome everyone back to what I know is going to be an extremely busy term. We also extend a warm welcome back to Stella Ramos and Debbie Davoli, who return after their time away on Long Service Leave.

Even though we were on holidays, the school was still a buzz with activity. It was extremely pleasing to see such a large number of our dedicated Units 3/4 students taking advantage of the extra exam revision and support programs offered by our great teachers. I would like to thank our staff and congratulate our students who have their end of year exams clearly in their line of sight. The extra effort now will pay off and I encourage our senior students to maintain their momentum. We also saw the outstanding success of our Cheerleading team, which is highlighted in this newsletter.

We finished our term with Parent, Student, Teacher Interviews. This is always a time to reflect on what is working well and also focus on the ‘what next?’ for improvement. It was pleasing to see so many parents and students engaged in conversations about learning. Please do not hesitate to contact your teachers if you have any further follow up questions from the interviews.

Compass

Have you checked Compass lately? Parent, student and teacher feedback about Compass has been very positive and we continue to utilise Compass as our Communication Tool. Just a reminder to continue to check your Compass portal to stay up to date with College news and information about your child. If you need assistance with Compass, we are happy to help, please make contact with the College.

It is going to be an excellent term. It is wonderful to see the renewed enthusiasm of students and the energy they bring to the classroom. Great students, great staff, great school!
