Boarding
Welcome to Term 3! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and managed to spend some time relaxing and recuperating from Semester 1.
Thank you to all students who took part in the July 1st Photo Competition. We had lots of great entries and I loved seeing what everyone was up to on the day.
To kick off the term, the Boarding Committee will meet on Thursday evening and I’m looking forward to receiving new ideas and input from the students. We will be discussing weekend activities but dedicating the majority of time to hearing ideas, thoughts and feedback from the committee members.
This will be another term packed with sports, music, study, and many other extracurricular activities. And of course, it is also the final term for our Year 12 students. This is an exciting, challenging, and often emotional time, and I hope you all have a truly enjoyable and memorable term. Now it’s time to knuckle down to some serious study!
I am very pleased to welcome six new boarders to the school, as well as Jarrod Hurst who joins us from the day school. As always, it is a joy to watch how supportive and welcoming our boarders are to newcomers.
Given that we have a number of new students, there will not be many casual beds available this term. Please make sure you apply early for casual boarding to avoid missing out.
