Instrumental Lesson and Ensembles

Music lessons and Ensemble rehearsals will commence in Week Two.  Students are reminded that lesson times should be written in the Student Record Book for Term 1 and attention must be given to prompt attendance.  Lessons missed due to absence without cause will be charged and not made up.  An edvance email or phone notification regarding student illness can enable rescheduling of lessons.  Music timetables are displayed on the noticeboard, have been emailed and can be found on SIMON under Knowledge Banks, Music Timetables (Public).  Changes to the timetable will be notified via email so students are reminded to regularly check their email.

We welcome new teachers Blake Hansen (Percussion), Jordan Mansell (Trumpet) and Lisa McDonald (Performance Arts, Chamber Singers and Female Voice Choir) to the Faculty in 2020.  Students are also informed to check for Ensemble Rehearsal times.

Concert Band – Tuesday lunchtime

Jazz Combo and Senior Quartet – Thursday lunchtime

Festival Voices – Friday lunchtime

Orchestra Victoria’s mOVe! Program comes back to Easter, 1-2 April (first week of Easter break).  Applications are open online now.
