Principal's Report

As Term 1 draws to a close, I can’t help but feel proud of all the student achievements and celebrations we have experienced this term including Year 7 Camp, Year 12 Retreat, Foundation Day, sporting accolades and academic successes. I would like to thank all the staff, students and families for contributing to the rich tapestry that is St Joseph’s College.

Our Parent/Teacher/Student interviews this week are an opportunity to raise questions, consolidate approaches, make connections with teachers and to reset approaches to learning if necessary. Regardless of the feedback, these conversations should always be focused on improvement and prompt us to think - 'what’s the next step I can take to improve my learning or my teaching?' I trust these conversations have been worthwhile. If you haven’t managed to book a time, please email your child’s teacher directly to make arrangements.

As we head toward Easter, let us be reminded that we are ‘Easter people’. Here at St Joseph's that means we are people of hope - hope for new life, hope for new experiences and particularly, hope for the future as we tranistion to our Kildare Campus next term. Easter also gives us an opportunity to reflect, rest and rejuvenate as we rejoice in the good news of Jesus Christ.

I wish all in our community the blessings of Easter and I look forward to the safe return of our students and staff in Term 2.

God Bless.
