P.E and Sport
State Swimming
At the beginning of term, Alfred competed at the State Swimming Championships in the Multiclass Freestyle and Backstroke events. To make it to this level is an incredible achievement. The 3/4 students enjoyed watching him being broadcasted live at school. Alfred, we couldn't be more proud of your achievements.
He placed 1st in Freestyle and 2nd in Backstroke. Well Done Alfred.
Cross Country
Our whole school cross country was held on Friday and we were extremely fortunate with the weather. There were a number of wonderful examples of students displaying our enjoyment, resilience, sportsmanship, determination and integrity. We need to give a huge thanks to the parent volunteers who gave up their afternoon to help run the event. These events cannot be held without their invaluable assistance.
A big shout out as well to those staff who happily took on jobs on the day and even ran a few laps to help encourage some of our children. We now have a large team who have qualified for the District Cross Country next week. Some of the results from the day were:
