TLI - Tutor Learning Initiative

TLI Program

My name is Michaela and I am a Teacher at Andersons Creek Primary School.  I will be teaching the Tutor Learning Initiative (TLI) program at ACPS in 2023.

The TLI is a Victorian Government program to help support students whose learning has been impacted by the Covid 19 Pandemic.

The students participating in the program are at academically different levels.  The purpose of the TLI program is to make sure that all students are at the academic level they would have been working at in a normal school year had remote learning not occurred.

For students to be eligible for the TLI program, assessment data based on the Victorian Curriculum is analysed to see which students would benefit from the additional support.

It is recommended that for optimal learning to take place, small groups of students will attend TLI sessions of 45 minutes throughout the week.  The TLI program has been implemented to ensure that the support is received in a way that minimises disruptions to other learning or school activities.  The sessions will take place in the TLI room.

The TLI program will begin in approximately two weeks, and I look forward to working with all the students involved.
