Term 2 News
As part of our Term 2 Inquiry Unit, the Grade 3/4 students enjoyed the movie: ‘We Bought a Zoo’. The film set the scene for discussions on important issues that are relevant to our Inquiry Unit. As part of a reward, from Term 1, in addition to watching the film, the students also enjoyed popcorn and wore their PJs for the event.

The film was a valuable and fun introduction to our Inquiry Unit.
On the last Monday of Term 1, the grade 3 and 4 students met on the oval. We counted the Easter Eggs in The Jar, TWICE.
Ali from 3/4 M was successful with his estimate of 73 eggs.
Ali told us that he was dreaming of The Jar all weekend. Apparently, he ate 50 eggs on the first night!
We had so much fun playing tennis and learning lots of skills. On Wednesday we had our gala morning at Warrandyte Tennis Club. It was such an incredible experience.

The Grade 2, 3, and 4 students participated in The ACPS Amazing Race on Wednesday. All students were in groups of 6-8 and were given a booklet with a series of clues and tasks to complete. They had to problem-solve, work as a team using social skills, and some multiplicative thinking was involved. In the end, the orange team completed all tasks first.
All in all, it was a wonderful time and lots of laughs were had.
