Grade 3/4 Students

Celebrating our tremendous Threes and fabulous Fours!

Grade 3/4 students have settled so well into Term 2 with so much fantastic learning taking place already.

During Numeracy sessions we have been working through our addition unit with a particular focus on developing students understanding of patterns. Here is a great piece of work that Michael N worked on where he designed some number machines and his peers needed to guess what the rule was that was being applied.

Weaved into our Respectful Relationships program for this week, we have been very fortunate to have had Wanyara come out and share some stories and experiences with us all. A real highlight was the painting session, where students were able to work to produce some of their own pieces of artwork using symbols of storytelling and beautiful posca pens.

As part of our focus on biographies, students have been really enjoying interviewing their classmates in preparation for publishing. They are developing their listening as well as their note taking skills, whilst using templates to help organise their information.
