Banyule Council
Council has some vents for children and families coming up in May.
- Up-cycled and nature-crafted decorations
A craft table with different activities for families to join in throughout the morning at your leisure. Families of different ages and skill levels can join in simultaneously and select the crafting activity that best suits you.
These workshops will help families think about their waste creation whilst making creative nature-crafted and fun things to take home.
- Up-cycled cards to repurpose as gift tags
- Nature-based photo frame (made from sticks and twine and other bits of nature)
- Leaf bookmark for the children to decorate with paint pens

2. Banyule Bushland Possum Prowl
Join us for a night walk through beautiful Banyule Flats. Meet Council’s Bushland Crew who will share their knowledge of the local habitat and introduce you to the fauna and flora that calls the banks of the Yarra home.
Suitable for ages 5+.
Sturdy closed shoes required.

Tailem from Monty PS
The Montmorency Traders Association have invited our very own, Tailem, to perform in Were Street during their Mother’s Day event.
Tailem plays a unique instrument called the Handpan. A Handpan is a convex steel drum played with the hands.
Tailem will be performing in the new stage area on Were Street, on Saturday 13th May between 10AM - 12PM.
