Food Technology

At the end of Term 1, students in Year 9/10 Food Tech celebrated World Carbonara Day by making an authentic Cabonara (without Cream). They also developed their Pasta skills by learning how to laminate Parsley leaves into their Pasta sheets. The results were spectacular and tasty!

 

Last week, the Year 8 students picked the last of the Apples and made Apple and Pear Crumble. The students enjoyed it with Ice Cream in the sunshine. In Year 7 Food Tech we have been talking about using veggies that are in season. This week we made Pumpkin and Thyme Risotto.
