Welcome back to all staff, students and parents/guardians. I trust you enjoyed some family time over the break. It was busy straight up with a short three-day week.

Weekend Activities

Friday night some Residential students enjoyed a trip to the Harvey Show to see the fireworks and enjoy some rides. A further group of students went to Eaton Fair for a shopping excursion.

Saturday saw an early start for those students involved in the showing of our cattle at the show.  On arrival at 5.30am all the students involved were in the dining room having breakfast and keen to depart the College before 6.00am. During the morning some students in residence went for a look at the show, while others attended a trip into Bunbury. In the afternoon, students enjoyed some fun on the slip and slide before sitting down to watch a movie on the big screen in the evening.

Sunday was a lazy day spent socialising around the fire pit interspersed with a town trip and visit to Harvey Cheese.

Digital Quiz Night

Next week we have an outside organisation coming in to run a Digital quiz night for the students on Monday evening. I must thank Michael Kilrain for taking the responsibility of organising the tables.  Michael tells me he used a computer program to randomly select the Year 10 and 11 students into groups and then added our Year 12 students to make the groups.

Well done, Michael, you can’t be any more fair about those groupings. This night should be a whole lot of fun.

Tomorrow Man/Tomorrow Woman

On Wednesday evening, we have the group Tomorrow Man/Tomorrow Woman coming in to catchup with our Year 10 Boarding students.  On Thursday evening they will spend time with our Year 11 Boarding students. We have had them in previously and they are very informative and great fun, so should be another great couple of nights.
