It's been great to get back into the swing of things this term, especially since the month of April saw the College receive 112.5mm of rain. This has resulted in early germination which means that we have begun preparing paddocks for the growing season.

Sheep

On Sheep this week Mr Adams has started crutching all the ewes prior to them lambing. A crutching demonstration day was held on Wednesday for the Year 10s.  This  allowed them to observe, then participate in how a sheep gets crutched and wool sorting.

Beef

At Beef Mr Edwards and Mrs Quilty have weighed and back lined the heifers in preparation for our AI program starting early next month.

Workshop

Mr Curran has been busy fabricating a new walkway for the loading ramp up at Beef which should be installed in the near future.

I would just like to remind all students that when rostered to Farm, all students need to come prepared with their Trade bag and PPE.

Thankyou
