School Cross Country

Brett Hudson

The school cross country was held this week and the event was a tremendous success, with the weather providing the perfect conditions for both the participants and the spectators to enjoy the day.

The course was challenging with some uneven terrain, but the runners took it in stride and ran with all their might. It was inspiring to watch the students push themselves to the limit and never give up, even when they were exhausted. They displayed excellent sportsmanship, cheering on their fellow classmates and congratulating them after crossing the finish line.

The winners of the race were greeted with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience. The top runners from each age group will be awarded medals at an upcoming assembly, which should be a source of great pride and accomplishment for those students.

The event was not just about winning; it was about participation and perseverance. Every student who took part in the race was a winner in their own right, as they had shown determination, dedication, and commitment to their sport and themselves.

We would like to congratulate every student who participated in the cross country event, whether they finished first or last. Your hard work and effort have made this event a resounding success.

Cross country was an amazing day for the school. This year the weather was amazing it was lots of fun to do and it was good to see so many people participating this year. Hopefully McAlister got the most points. It was good to see all years and even some teachers participating and it was just overall a great event.
