Domestic Basketball

Congratulations to our first Frankston High School domestic basketball team. The U/14 boys will compete in the winter competition at FDBA. 

The team consists of Andrew Donaldson, Daniel Rogozinski, Dante Roberts, Liam Wilkinson, Ronin Barrett, Riley Belleville, Trent Matthews, Max Gibbon and Luke Rudolph. 

Thank you to coaches Natalie Broome and Lizzy Macintyre for giving up their time to train the boys and assist them on game day and also to Catherine Cloherty for managing the team. All the best for the season boys!

State Swimming Championships

On Wednesday,15 April, 12 students participated in the State Swimming Championships. It was a successful day for Frankston High School, coming 7th overall, a great achievement!  A number of students swam in individual events with many placing in the top three in the state.

A big congratulations to the 16yo Boys’s 200m Freestyle Relay Team, Keith Crawford, Benji Dremel, Keehlan Ferrari-Brown and Aiden Smith, on winning for the fourth year in a row.

It was exciting to watch a 28 year old record being broken by the 18-20yo Girl’s 200m Freestyle Relay Team. Sarah Bresnahan, Renee Fox, Georgia Hosking and Elizabeth Macintyre achieved a time of 2.01.31 to win and beat the record that was set in 1987, a fantastic effort.

Congratulations to the 14YO Boy’s Team consisting of Eric Crawford, Dylan Garrett, Dmytro Kuzmovych and Thomas (TJ) Williams on swimming a great race to come fourth in the state.

It was a great day with much success, personal bests and team spirit. Well done to all of the swimmers.
