We are making a difference in the world!

“Our students are our future. They are passionate, capable, informed
young people, ready to lead initiatives that support the essential skills
of tomorrow “ - Global Citizenship Program

We are very excited to be part of the Global Citizenship Student Ambassador Program this year.

Students in year 5/6 were presented with information about the program and any questions they had were answered. All students that wanted to be involved and participate were asked to write an expression of interest. Students had to explain why they wanted to be part of the program and how they would make a great ambassador for the program and for our school.

Many students applied and it was a very difficult choice for Miss O’Connor, Mr Anania and Mrs Antonella to select 6 students from the group.

Congratulations to the following students who will represent Trinity Primary School in this exciting new program!

Well done to Gracelyn, Henryk, Anthony, Vihaan, Mikayla and Vincent for making the commitment to the program and enacting their student voice!

The launch

Thursday 30th March, 11.30-1pm online.

Information about the Global Citizenship Program

The student ambassadors will drive a sustainability focus initiative at Trinity.  They will also connect with a national network of ambassadors and their peers at school, building on their leadership skills in a real-life context that has meaning and purpose.

Support will be provided for students throughout the term with a national network online meeting, access to a student online collaborative space and to videos, podcasts, articles and supportive materials to assist them throughout the year.

Teachers will support the ambassador students throughout the year and assist

them with planning, implementing and communicating their project to the wider school community.

The final completed project will be presented to the whole school community in term four.

Students in Year 5/6 will also participate in learning activities and provide support, ideas and collaborate with the ambassadors.

The ambassadors will also include regular updates in the school newsletter!!

Thank you,

Ms Antonella
