Physical Education

It was wonderful to see our Senior students back at school and enjoying learning and being together. We look forward to our Senior Cross Country in Week 11. Students will run/walk/jog the school Cross country course for 30 minutes. Students will receive a mark for each lap they complete. All students will receive a certificate of participation with the top 4 receiving ribbons. The Cross country event will be held in PE class time so please make sure you are wearing your House coloured top and running shoes on PE days. Results will be published in the next newsletter.

The junior students have demonstrated incredible zest and perseverance over the past week of cross country! Everyone who had the chance to participate should feel quite proud of their efforts. What an amazing effort from everyone!

Visual Arts

Last week, students in 1/2  made the most adorable monsters based on the story of ‘Mrs Muffly’s monster’ by Sarah Dyer. Our messy monster characters are as unique and impressive as the creators themselves. A wonderful series of work. Love the talent we have here at Mount Pleasant Road PS.
