At the start of each Italian class the children begin with the following:

Teacher - “Buongiorno bambini/ragazzi. Pace sia con voi”

Children – “Buongiorno signora Varrenti e pace sia con lei”

Translation – “Good morning children. Peace be with you”

All together – “Nel nome del Padre, del Figlio e dello Spirito Santo. Così sia, Amen.”

Translation – “In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. So be it, Amen.”
