| How long have you worked at Buninyong PS? | I am in my second year with Buninyong Primary | ||
What is your role at the school?
| I teach year 3/4! | ||
| What is the most rewarding part of your job? | I love it when students actually laugh at my bad jokes! | ||
| What is your ideal way to unwind and relax? | I am a yogi! That means I love to practice yoga. | ||
| When you were little what did you aspire to be? | When I was young, I was only ever going to be 2 things: a pilot or a mechanic. So I became a teacher. Makes sense, hey! | ||
| What was your favourite subject at school? | I am a massive science geek! I loved physics, chemistry, psychology, biology and any other olgy you can think of! | ||
| How many languages do you speak? | Just the one language, but I am getting better at Auslan! | ||
| What skill would you like to master? | My goal this year is to be able to spin a basketball on my finger! My record so far is 0.9 seconds. I reckon I can do better than that. | ||
| What book/tv series/podcasts are you right into at the moment? | My favourite podcast is Ologies! Each week, they bring in an expert (or an ologist) in every possible science field imaginable. My favourite episodes include cryo seismology (Ice quakes!) and corvid thanatology (Crow funerals!). | ||
| What is your favourite sport to watch or play? | I am an avid consumer of all sports! My favourite things to watch are NBA, MLB (Baseball) and test cricket. | ||
| Do you play a musical instrument? If so, which one? | The musical instrument that I play is Spotify. That's as talented as I get with music. Oh, I can whistle really poorly, too. | ||
| What would you sing at karaoke night? | Simple! I wouldn't sing at karaoke night. Trust me, I am doing everyone a favour. | ||
| If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? | I have a sneaky answer to this question. Its salad! you can put anything into a salad if you try hard enough! | ||
| If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? | I would be able to freeze time! Imagine all the work I could get done! | ||
| What’s your favourite holiday destination? | My favourite holiday destination is any place with a cabin, a wood fire and good book. | ||
| Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life? | I would want Nicholas Cage to act as me in the movie of my life. Think of all the memes! | ||
Do you collect anything?
| I have a collection of Sherlock Holmes books. My favourite is The Hound of Baskervilles. | ||
| Who’s in your family? | My family is made up of my partner Belle, 2 clever but cantankerous kelpies and me! | ||
