Harmony Day 2023

St Justin's will celebrate Harmony Day next Tuesday, 21st March. Harmony Day  celebrates Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community.  Did you know Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world? The message of Harmony Week 2023 is 'Everyone Belongs'. To celebrate this day, we will have a whole school assembly on Tuesday morning at 9.10am, followed by 2 guest speakers. Students will then participate in a Harmony Day activity in mixed class groups. Our Harmony Day activities will take place in the morning learning block.

Students are encouraged to wear a touch of orange (e.g. orange socks, orange hair ties etc.). Orange is the chosen colour for Harmony Day as it  signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.

We are sure this will be a great morning for the students!
