MCMA Murray to Mountains Tour

The Murray to Mountain tour was a resounding success. Including students from Wind Symphony, Big Band and String Works, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect, and for the students to gain some experience in real world performances. 

The ensembles performed at Violet Street Primary School, Bridge Road Brewery, the Bendigo Art Gallery, the Big Ned Kelly, Art Silos, the Port of Echuca Discovery Center. The standard of playing increase dramatically with each performance and the students had a great time.

Other activities included, Paddle Steamer along the Murray River, Bendigo Tram Tour, Bike Riding on the Rail Trail in Myrtleford, the Bullawah Cultural Trail Walk, and the Longully Splash Park. 

Autumn Concert

Coming up we have our Autumn Concert on 5 May. This concert will be an opportunity for all of our ensembles to perform, and will also include all Year 07 students as a part of the Year 07 Band Class. Many of these students will be performing for the first time on instruments that they have just begun to play which will be an exciting experience.

16 June - Austrian Club: All Ensembles, some solo performances
