SOLAR BUDDY FUNDRAISER

Hello students, parents and staff, 

At the recent BSC Athletics carnival, the IB class held a fundraising stall to help raise money for an Australian charity called Solar Buddy. 

Solar Buddy is a business dedicated to providing children living in energy poverty with solar powered lights in order to help them study at night and improve their educational outcomes. 

It took a true team effort to make the stall successful, as we had different roles such as marketing director, accountant, salespersons, advertising director. Throughout the day, we sold out three times and had to restock promptly.  

Thank you to all that generously donated to our fundraiser by buying a drink, zooper dooper, chocolate, guessing how many jellybeans are in the jar or by simply giving a gold coin. 

With your help, we were able to raise $766.21 for the charity.
