COURSE SELECTION FOR 2022

Course Selection for 2022

For Current Year 11 Students

In the two remaining weeks of Term 3 following the midyear examinations, we begin the process of course counselling and course selection for 2022. Year 11 students will have their course counselling interviews in these final two weeks of Term 3.

Preparation for this will begin in PEP sessions before the examinations. Course selection information for 2022 is available on COMPASS/Community/School Documentation/Senior School/Course Selection 2022.

ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS RECOMMENDATIONS FOR 2022

All students will be able to access their current English and Mathematics teachers’ recommendations/advice for future studies in these subject areas in COMPASS Learning Tasks for English and Mathematics. This should be available by the end of next week.

It is expected that all students and parents will access this information prior to completing their course selection for 2022, course counselling session and entering subject preferences on the web portal. This will be discussed with students during course counselling sessions.

Please note that these are recommendations only, and are used to assist in the course counselling process. The advice does not preclude students from being able to include subjects on their selection sheet or on the web preferences portal.

For Current Year 10 students

Information regarding the Senior School Programs (IB, VCE & VET) is now available in a video presentation on COMPASS.

It is important that all Year 10 students and parents view this presentation over the coming week. The presentation, along with the Year 11 and 12 Handbook, IB Handbook, individual KLA presentations and other important forms and information regarding subject selection for 2022 is located on COMPASS/Community/School Documentation/Senior School/Course Selection 2022.
